    Buda, Texas Profile
    by Ronnie Bredahl

Buda is the perfect place to live in if you are looking for that small town feel without sacrificing the advantages of living nearby key cities. This small town is the home of less than five thousand friendly neighbors but their small number doesn't affect their willingness to accommodate more guests and more new neighbors. Buda residents do know how to entertain their guests to keep them coming back for more. Often times, these guests even consider relocating their home to the small and peaceful community of Buda.

The townspeople of Buda routinely organize parades, mixers, parties, festivities, cook fests, dog races, and family picnics so that everyone in their community can grow together and know one another. This is truly a simple town perfect for raising a family.

Buda is only twenty minutes away from the bustling city of Austin and only forty five minutes away from the luxurious city of San Antonio. Residents of Buda never had any problems regarding access to the various job opportunities in these two key cities. They can easily drive or commute to and from Austin and San Antonio to get to their workplace or whenever they feel like shopping during the day and partying at night.

The greatest thing about Buda is the inexpensive real estate prices offered in this small town. You can easily find the most suitable home for your family by seeking the aid of some real estate businesses located here. They will be more than happy to assist you and find you your perfect home. If you are fond of gardening, your new yard and Buda's environment are very ideal combination in nurturing your plants and even growing your own vegetable garden.

You can visit the Antique Row, a huddle of specialty shops in the main street that has a large collection of Western-style antiquities, which is one of the most popular tourist getaways for buying souvenirs. The nearly two century old post office and Old Stagecoach Property in Buda are upcoming attractions in the near future once they have been restored to their original state. Another attraction in Buda is the Carrington House. It used to be a hotel and café which served the train passengers in the past. You can find the old railroad tracks nearby and not far from it is the famous local concert and other events venue, the Buda Park and Pavilion.

Buda provides a lot of outdoor activities for the whole family to enjoy. The different rivers, hills, lakes, falls, and parks situated around Buda are perfect getaways for that family outing, swimming, trekking, camping, fishing, and other outdoor activities you can imagine. There are actually four parks all around Buda where your family can get together and have a nice Sunday afternoon picnic.

If you ask me, I say that Buda is the perfect home for every family all around the US. The family-oriented and friendly neighborhood is what every growing family needs to establish a solid foundation of the society.
